This week, we’re joined by Alex Cox, VP of GTM at RevSure – the enterprise-grade, full-funnel attribution AI solution for high-growth marketing teams.

In this interview, Alex takes us through RevSure’s journey to date, provides insights into its proprietary AI and ML solutions, and unpacks the company’s own approach to go-to-market.

Full-funnel GTM attribution

RevSure is a full-funnel go-to-market AI attribution platform that helps companies optimise their marketing spend and improve revenue operations.

The platform brings go-to-market teams together, tracking every data point and piece of activity to provide attribution insights across the whole funnel. This holistic approach to sales, marketing, customer success, and other GTM functions allows RevSure users to see what activities really move prospects from stage to stage–from the top of the funnel, right through to closed-won.

Working with enterprise-grade clients, the company also prioritises custom funnels and integrations with martech solutions including automation platforms and CRMs.

“The nice thing with RevSure is that we fit into your funnel. We don’t make you fit into our funnel. That’s really the beauty of what we’re able to do. Be custom to what works for them and tell them specifically what they should be doing from stage to stage.”

The Wilmington-based company has seen rapid growth over the last 12 months, gaining traction amongst enterprise clients operating at $100M+ in ARR, through to the low billions.

Harnessing AI for deeper GTM insights

RevSure differentiates itself with proprietary AI and ML capabilities that give its customers deeper insights into their GTM processes (it also saw them win Most Innovative use of AI at The SaaStock Awards!).

Alex explained that RevSure Founder Deepinder Singh Dhingra previously spent 20+ years building data science teams at large enterprise companies. Bringing that expertise into the RevSure product has allowed them to add even more value, building out functionality that customers want but can’t get elsewhere, including pipeline projections, and budget reallocation.

“It’s the proprietary models that we’ve been able to build on top of attribution. So, that’s really important and we’re really the only ones doing it in the field. And I would say just that alone has brought so many things like reallocation, making sure your budget goes to the right place. We’re able to project out all the way down to the campaign level of what’s working, what’s not working before it even performs.”

For RevSure’s customers, this level of functionality is “critical today in terms of the economy and making sure every dollar goes as far as it can.”

A unified approach to GTM

RevSure carries its belief in holistic go-to-market through to its own GTM function: 

“We’re marrying everyone together from sales, marketing, customer success, solution engineering. Those are the teams that I oversee.”

This approach allows RevSure to avoid common silos across functions, ensuring better alignment and better service for its customers. This customer centricity is also carried through to how the team is built out. In hiring, the focus is on experience that can help the company better connect with its ideal customers across Rev Ops and Marketing:

“It’s almost like having that in-house consultant. And we have that across all of our teams. Customer success, sales, marketing, solution engineering, they all come from that Rev Ops and Martech space and that allows them to be experts of what they’re doing. Subject matter experts, not just your typical customer success person or marketing person. They have all done that role.”

What’s next for RevSure?

Despite being early in the journey, RevSure is claiming its space in the SaaS market. The company has strong product-market fit among mid market and enterprise SaaS companies, consistently attracting new clients through its investor network and customer referrals. Following its $10M Seed Round in 2023, the company is strategically focusing on growth, market expansion, and customer value.

An exciting part of which is shaping their product roadmap with the help of their customers: “I think we’re going to have a record year in terms of growth, which is exciting. Then I think we’re going to just continue to serve our customers. That’s really at the centre of what we do. So the way we’ve built out our platform, especially around AI and ML, is being able to listen to the customers. For example, they tell us it’d be awesome to have this feature and that’s a lot of how our product has been built.”

Breaking into Europe: A strategic partnership with SaaStock

As RevSure grows, a core focus is expansion into new markets. This year, the company partnered with SaaStock Europe to connect with customers and prospects in the European SaaS market. 

“We’ve loved it. It’s been fantastic for us. We’re a US-based company and what SaaStock has allowed us to do is really start to break into the European market.”

Though early in their Europe expansion, RevSure does already have some customers in the region. In addition to engaging with new prospects, SaaStock gave the team the opportunity to connect with these enterprise customers face-to-face.

“I would highly encourage US based friends to make that investment and come out here. It’s been totally worth it the past couple of days for us to be here, meeting with our current customers and meeting with some new ones as well, and just really sharing what we’re building.”
